Knitting in the round opens up a whole new world of projects—from cosy hats and cowls to sleeves, socks, and seamless garments. During this class, you'll learn the essential techniques to confidently start and work a project in the round.
In this workshop, you'll learn how to:
- Cast on and join your stitches without twisting
- Knit seamlessly in the round using circular needles
- Use stitch markers to keep track of your rounds
- Read the direction of your knitting and troubleshoot common mistakes
- Finish with the confidence to continue knitting in the round at home
This workshop is suitable for knitters who are comfortable with the knit stitch and can cast on independently. No previous experience with circular needles is needed.
